Kilcooley Community Forum Ltd is an umbrella group which represents the interests of community and voluntary organisations in and around Kilcooley Estate. The forum is a registered charity, originally founded in 1997 and incorporated in 2016.
The forum is committed to the key areas of Education, Health and Community Development. To this end, we have established two main delivery vehicles:
· A Community Education Hub
· A Community Garden and Allotments Hub
Through its close work with Ulster University, the Forum has supported local people into and through their undergraduate studies, through its Unblocking Potential Course. We also offer a diverse range of community focused training covering areas from Good Relations to local history, drama and Horticulture.
Supported by Department for Communities, Public Health Agency and a range of other funders, Kilcooley Community Forum remains committed to the delivery of free, high quality, accessible education within a community setting.
